Gakkou no Kaidan: Hyakuyobako no Fuuin ( Japanese 学校の怪談～百妖箱の封印～ lit. Ghost Stories at School : Seal at the Instrument Shelter / Seal of One Hundred ) is an adventure game released in 2004 in Japan for the Game Boy Advance by TDK Core. The game was based in many aspects on the anime Gakkou no Kaidan.
Plot
The game has a Story Mode and a Minigame Mode. In the Story Mode, the player's objective is to exorcize the many ghosts at the old school building, very similar to other Gakkou no Kaidan games. There are monsters and ghosts found while walking through the school, and the player battles with them. This gameplay is slightly similar to the Pokémon franchise.
Reception[]
The game was not released outside Asia, so it's not well known in Western countries. It became kinda popular in Japan.
